Description   We approach our French Roast blend through an understanding of the good and bad side of dark roasting coffee. Stopping a dark roast at the right degree of heat results in a sweet, rich coffee with the intense caramelized flavors that French Roast lovers crave, and going too far results in something very close to charcoal that removes all traces of the origin flavors of the coffee.  We select beans from the principal growing regions of the world that are hardy enough to be taken to this level of roast, then bring them along to the lower edge of the dark roast spectrum.  Try this one, and we think you will find some new flavors and experience the rich dimensions of deep, dark roasting.
