>the coffee doctor is in!

It is an interesting irony of coffee that after the long road of growing, transportation to market, processing, milling, shipping, storage, more transportation, roasting and packaging, the biggest problem with the coffee experience is what happens between the store and the cup.

Coffee isn’t rocket science, nor is it easy – but often it just takes a few simple pointers to make the difference between a good cup and a bad one.  And we would like to show you the way to better coffee.

So, just send us an email and tell us about what’s happening with your coffee.  We’re sure we can give you some good tips – and if we don’t know the answer, we’ll try to point you in the right direction.

It would help us help you if you could copy the list of questions below into your email (this is like the questions you answer when you go to the real doctor).

We look forward to hearing from you.

1. What don’t you like about your coffee?

2. Tell us about your coffee:
- what are the beans (meaning, what country or name of the blend)?
- when did you buy them?
- did you buy them as whole bean or were they ground?
- how did you store the coffee since you brought it home?

3. Grinding:
- did you grind it at the store or at home?
- what setting did you use on the grinder?
- if you grind the coffee at home, what kind of grinder do you use?

4. Brewing Method:
- what kind of brewer do you use to prepare your coffee?
- how much coffee do you use – and how much water?

5. After Brewing:
- do you drink your coffee right after brewing?
- if not, where does the coffee spend its time between brewing and when you drink it?
